Carolina grew up in the Brussels and Paris underground. Even though she was cradled by music since her childhood, Carolina spent most of her time making explosives, studying martial arts, advanced nuclear physics, and biologic weopons... Attracted by this life, she made her first steps as an assassin at the age of 15. Excelling in her deadly arts she scoured the world to perfect her skills. (USA, Eastern Europe, Ukraine, China, Russia, Nepal, Croatia, Portugal, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Canada, South America, Africa, etc.) Being too young and feeling manipulated despite her strong will, she then spent a few years alone in the Kunlun mountains to meditate and develop her very own and unique fighting style. Walking those mountains, a new passage of attention comes to her way as she meets an old hermit with amazing abilities who will teach her the mystical arts of internal alchemy. While in deep in meditation, she learn to listen to the rythm of this world. This will change her life, and make her rediscover music in a whole new way. Feeling equilibrated and in peace with herself she decides to stop her carreer as an assassin and start a carreer in music, to pass on what she had learn from this long reclusion to the world. As she tells us: "Killing people is great, but you can't go on with doing just bad things, 'cause else there is no harmony. And that's what it's all about: Harmony. This is the reason that made me decide to make music. To balance myself and my actions." Since then she became a well known and respected Dj. Playing at MTV, Cannes Film Festival,... She has performed at the same nightclubs and events as: Armand Van Helden, Felix da Housecat, David Guetta, D.O.N.S, Steve Angello, to name a few..
Today, she is finally into electro where she found all the sounds she has met in the past and shows great variety and knowledge in her Dj set ! Well aware of her potential, Carolina Cartell continues her career into production to make music that makes the dance floors move. Her first remix was into the 15 finalists of the contest Felix Da Housecat "We all wanna be prince" with the most listening and download. She wrote the lyrics and sang on her first track "My pussy" which is a feature with the world famous producer Cutee B who collaborates with Bob Sinclar . Ambitious enough she now produces her own electro tracks who are an explosive mixture. A promising future is announced to this brilliant and visionary artist who certainly will be one of the well known artists of the Dj scene.
